The Blazing Paddles stand-up paddleboarding race is part of Share the River’s second annual Share the River Ramble.

The event includes a 6-mile race of elite paddlers, beginning at the Cleveland Rowing Foundation and heading up river. Afterward is an open 2-mile race.

The 6-mile course includes sweeping views of downtown Cleveland, under 10 bridges, before reaching the race’s turnaround point, the location of the infamous Cuyahoga River fire.

An accompanying festival includes beer and music at Rivergate Park in the Flats.
