I know. The back-to-school ads are out, and the fall sports are kicking off. But it’s still summer, and this weekend looks absolutely glorious on Lake Erie. So live it up boating, swimming, beaching, fishing, whatever!

The lake water is about 77 degrees. Just watch out for the waterspouts.

Here’s your National Weather Service marine forecast, from Avon Point to Willowick.

Thursday: Southwest wind 11 to 14 knots becoming west 14 to 17 knots in the afternoon. A chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 11 a.m. Waves 2 feet, building to 4 feet. High of 79.

Thursday night: NW wind 9 to 14 knots. A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms before 1 a.m. Waves 2 to 3 feet. Low of 68.

Friday: West-northwest wind 8 to 11 knots. A chance of waterspouts before 11 a.m. Mostly sunny. Waves around 2 feet. High of 75.

Friday night: West wind 5 to 7 knots becoming northwest after midnight. Partly cloudy. Waves 1 to 2 feet. Low of 67.

Saturday: Northwest wind 6 to 8 knots. Mostly sunny. Waves around 1 foot. High of 76.
