The National Museum of the Great Lakes in Toledo tells the story of the Great Lakes through over 300 genuine artifacts, a number of powerful audiovisual displays, shipwreck information and 40 hands-on interactive exhibits including the Col. James M. Schoonmaker Museum Ship and the tug Ohio.

Seasonal Hours

Monday-Saturday: 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
Sunday: Noon-5 p.m.
Closed on Mondays between Labor Day and Memorial Day
Closed Mondays and Tuesdays, January through March
Col. James M. Schoonmaker is open May-October
