Lake Erie weather was frightful for Halloween, with a storm water and waves up to 20 feet. The rest of the weekend isn’t looking much better, with lots of wind, temperatures in the 40s and chances of rain.

Friday: Gale warning remains. West-southwest wind 22 to 25 knots decreasing to 16 to 19 knots in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 34 knots. A chance of showers, mainly before 8 a.m. Waves 8 feet, subsiding to 5 feet. High of 45.
Friday night: SW wind around 12 knots. Mostly clear. Waves 3 feet subsiding to 1 foot. Low of 38.
Saturday: South wind 12 to 15 knots becoming west-southwest 15 to 18 knots in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 24 knots. A chance of showers after 2 p.m. Waves 2 to 3 feet. High of 48.
Saturday night: West wind around 20 knots, with gusts as high as 26 knots. Showers likely, mainly between 8 p.m. and 2 a.m. Waves around 5 feet. Low of 38.
Sunday: West wind 16 to 18 knots. A chance of showers before 8 a.m. Waves 4 to 5 feet. High of 45.
Sunday night: Southwest wind 11 to 13 knots. Mostly cloudy. Waves around 2 feet. Low of 40.
