What a difference a week makes! This weekend is looking very wintry, with temperatures forecasted not to break freezing. 

The lake, however, is still far from ice fishing season.

Friday: North-northwest wind 5 to 9 knots becoming variable and less than 5 knots in the afternoon. Partly sunny. Waves 3 ft subsiding to 1 ft. High of 30.
 
Friday night: Variable winds 5 knots or less. Mostly cloudy. Waves around 1 foot. Low of 23.
 
Saturday: Variable winds less than 5 knots becoming east-northeast 5 to 8 knots in the morning. A chance of snow, mainly after 1 p.m. Waves 1 foot or less. High of 32.
 
Saturday night: East-northeast wind 10 to 13 knots. A chance of snow, mainly before 1am. Waves 1 to 2 feet. Low of 27.
 
Sunday: East-northeast wind around 14 knots. Mostly cloudy. Waves 2 to 3 feet. High of 32.
