Fall is giving way to winter this weekend, with temperatures dropping and wind and waves picking up.

Friday: Southeast wind 8 to 11 knots becoming west-southwest 14 to 17 knots in the afternoon. Showers, mainly before 5 p.m. Waves 1 to 2 feet. High of 43 degrees.
 
Friday night: West wind 24 to 26 knots, with gusts as high as 34 knots. Rain showers likely before 1 a.m., then a chance of rain and snow showers. Waves 5 feet, building to 7 feet. Low of 34 degrees.
 
Saturday: West wind 24 to 28 knots, with gusts as high as 35 knots. Snow showers likely, mainly before 1pm. Waves 7 feet, building to 9 feet. High of 38.
 
Saturday night: West wind 17 to 20 knots decreasing to 12 to 15 knots after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 26 knots. Mostly cloudy. Waves 7 feet, subsiding to 4 feet. Low of 31.
 
Veterans Day, Sunday: West wind around 10 knots becoming southwest in the afternoon. Mostly cloudy. Waves 3 feet subsiding to 1 foot. High of 40.
 
Sunday night: South-southwest wind around 10 knots. Mostly cloudy. Waves around 1 foot. Low of 36.
