Windy and wavy for the start of the Fall Brawl! Lake Erie marine forecast Oct. 19-21

Eddie’s Grill at Geneva-on-the-Lake is closed for the season. But the fall fishing season, and Great Lakes surf season is just starting. (Laura Johnston, RocktheLake)

The Cleveland Metroparks’ Emerald Necklace Marina is closed for the season. But hey, the Fall Brawl starts Friday! And Cleveland’s surf season is just beginning.

So if you’re looking to get out on Lake Erie this weekend, dress warm and watch the wind and waves. They could climb to 8 feet Saturday night.

The Lake Erie water temperature is 60 off Toledo and 66 off Cleveland.
