Lorena James uses quagga mussels to make 3D printing filament

Lorena James is a college student with her own invention: 3D printing filament made with zebra and quagga mussels, an invasive species in Lake Erie.

James won the high school division of the Cleveland Water Alliance Erie Hack competition last year for her Z Spools.
