Flat Out Fridays are back!

Starting June 8, Flats East Bank will host its third annual free summer concert series on the second  Friday of each month.

First up: Binge Red, an alternative rock group.

The fun starts at 7 p.m., with the concert, food and beverages. Proceeds from sales will benefit a local nonprofit.

Grab dinner before in the $750 million Flats East Bank development, which includes FWD, Punch Bowl Social, Big Bang, Beerhead, Coastal Taco, Alley Cat, Dante’s Inferno, Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville and the Rascal Flatts restaurant slated to open July 1. Stroll the promenade along the Cuyahoga River.

The season kicks off with the Taste of Summer Memorial Day weekend, with Cleveland bands and DJs, local beer and food.

In August, shop the third annual Flats Festival of the Arts, with 250 vendors and 30,000 expected visitors, Aug. 18-19. It coincides with SPARX City Hop.
