A beautiful spring weekend is ahead for Lake Erie. If you’re a surfer trying to catch some waves, Friday is your day, especially in the morning. While a small craft advisory is in effect until 10 a.m., that means killer waves for surfers, hitting 3 to 4 feet. The waves will calm through Friday afternoon, and the rest of the weekend, 1-foot waves will be dull.

Saturday winds will be calm, and Sunday and Monday will only reach around 8 knots.

Water temperatures are in the upper 30s, so any sailors will need a drysuit, and surfers will need that wet suit. Air temperatures will range from the 40s to 50s. Wear a jacket if you’re working on your boat!
