This weekend isn’t looking too great for Lake Erie lovers. Those trying to get their boat in this weekend will have to wait until Sunday. Friday and Saturday, rain showers are likely, which could dampen the fun. Swimmers will still be able to head out, with a wetsuit, as winds and waves are looking light and safe – but that’s also bad news for surfers.

Sunday will be the best bet for a good time on Lake Erie this weekend, and if you can head out again Monday, the dry, sunny pattern will continue. But it won’t be great for surfers, waves will barely reach a foot. Winds at 8 knots should be enough for sailors, however.
