Mark your calendars for Cleveland Metroparks’ free summer concerts Thursdays at Edgewater Live and Friday at Euclid Beach Live, beginning May 31 and June 1 and running through the first week of August.
Aside from the bands, visitors can sample a rotating lineup of more than a dozen Cleveland food trucks each week and enjoy happy hour on the beach, on the west and east sides of Cleveland.
Evenings at Edgewater start at 4:30 p.m. with performers from the Tri-C Creative Arts Program. Headliners play 6-9 p.m.

New at Edgewater is the Nature Shop, where you can rent standup paddleboards, umbrellas and chairs and buy beach gear. The Edgewater Beach House sells drinks and made-to-order food.
And nearby is Whiskey Island Live, at the Whiskey Island Still and Eatery, with live bands 6-10 p.m.
(Although you might want to find an alternate route to the concert, with the Shoreway down to one lane because of construction.)
Euclid Beach Live
Friday parties start June 1, with music and food vendors 6-9 p.m. at Euclid Beach Park.
Visitors can see work on the new 285-foot Euclid Beach Pier, which is scheduled to open this fall 2018 with stellar views of downtown Cleveland.
