Love Lake Erie?

Of course. That’s why we’re all here. We launched RocktheLake to tap into Ohioans’ affinity to our Great Lake. Now we’ve created a way to wear that love on your sleeve. Or on a beach towel, or smartphone case.

The RocktheLake line will benefit the Foundry Rowing & Sailing Center, a nonprofit organization dedicated to getting Cleveland kids on the water. That’s right in line with our mission, to showcase all Lake Erie has to offer and promote access to it. So we’re dedicating 10 percent of all gear profits to the Foundry, which teaches rowing from a state-of-the-art center in the Flats and sailing from the Old Coast Guard Station on Whiskey Island.

We’re working with Threadless, offering seven designs you can put on all sorts of goods, in all sorts of colors. The items will be printed on demand, and they range from $16 for a baby T-shirt to $39 for an adult hoodie.

We know Clevelanders love their T-shirts. And while we’re not going to open a retail outlet any time soon, we think our designs are pretty cool.

Take the helm in an edgy RocktheLake tank top. Marry the lake with Cleveland’s roots in rock and roll. Embrace the spirit of adventure, share your love of sailing or make it clear that you’d rather be fishing.

Throw on some jeans and flip flops and get out on Lake Erie.
