With less than two days left of the seventh annual Lake Erie Walleye Fall Brawl, anglers crammed the Cleveland harbor, hoping to catch a big one.

Matthew Branigan hooked a 14.97-pound walleye Friday morning, the biggest ever in the competition. But that doesn’t mean the contest is over.

Fishermen came out on a sunny afternoon, some for the second time that day. They planned to stay after dark. And they’ll be back Saturday too, until the competition ends Sunday at 8 a.m.
