See the Lake Erie forecast for Dec. 1-3.

Lake Erie anglers will love the weekend ahead, with mild weather for the last weekend of the Lake Erie Walleye Fall Brawl. Surfers, however, may need to wait for some waves.

A small craft advisory (which means big waves) is in effect until 7 a.m. Friday, but the rest of the weekend is looking pretty calm.

If you’re daring enough to go for a paddle, wear a thick wetsuit, since the water temperature is in the mid to upper 40s.

You may want to avoid the lake Monday. If you don’t mind a little rain, at least winds and waves aren’t looking too bad.
